Kathryn Blyth is currently the Director, Academic Services and Academic Registrar, at The University of Queensland (UQ). Prior to this appointment in 2023, she was Academic Registrar and Director, Student Administration at the Australian Catholic University from 2011 - 2023. Kathryn has worked in the Australian higher education sector for 20 years in roles at UQ, ACU, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the University of Wollongong’s Sydney Business School. Kathryn has held both faculty and central roles with responsibilities across the student lifecycle. Kathryn’s current role oversees UQ’s student and academic services, academic and student policies, regulatory compliance, the University program accreditation processes, and the student complaints and grievance process. Kathryn is currently President of the Association of Tertiary Education Management (ATEM) and is a strong advocate of professional development for staff that allows them to connect, thrive and engage.
